KVPY Stands for "Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana". KVPY Exam Conduct by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India.
The aim of the program is to identify and encourage talented and motivated students for pursuing a research career.
The Department of Science and Technology has entrusted the overall responsibility for organizing the KVPY Program to the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

Eligibility =

you must Have 80% in Maths and Science in 10th Class.
you must have 70% in 12th Class.
you must have Science Stream in 12th Class.

syllabus -

There is no Fixed Syllabus for KVPY Exam.
KVPY Exam Syllabus is Mainly Based on Logical Reasoning, Critical Thinking.
Main Syllabus of KVPY Exam is 11th & 12th Class Science Stream.
Physics, Chemistry , mathematics Have Main Part of This Exam.
this Exam is Consider as Tough Exam but it is not So Tough. Question are Based on Concept.
Conceptual and Logical Question is Asked in This Exam.

A student has taken her 12 boards this year & got 82.8 % marks but did not crossed jee mains cut off. She has decided take another attempt. For the time being, she is taking admission in any nearby college in B.SC. If she applied for KVPY (stream SB) & get selected & next year she takes admission in IIT, NISER or any good college then KVPY Scolarship will be valid or not?

if it is niser her scholarship will remain.but no additional will be given because in niser the scholarship is based on inspire program.so she has to quit either of them.in iit nothing will remain

I passed 12th with bio as my main subject and this year taking admission for B.Sc. So for KVPY (stream SB) have i have to answer Mathematics part also???

I am ab.sc student nd want to make my career in research field..as i am doing nutrition i want to knw what kind of research is being done in kvpy...so that my b.s.c course should not get affected....plz may i get a proper answer for this

In maths, the questions will be based on which chapters mainly as after watching previous year sample paper I got confused.

If a student studying in class 12, with Electronics or Computer Science as the fourth major science subject (without biology as a core paper in PUC), is he/she expected to answer biology related questions in the SX stream of the KVPY exam? Is there a way out?
