MAT Stands for Management of Aptitude Test examination is conducted by All Indian Management Association four times in a year.This year February Examination will he held on 05.02.12 and 11.02.12.

Eligibility Criteria for MAT examination :-

The candidate need to completed graduate degree in any discipline of recognized University or equivalent qualification with minimum marks in their examination and those in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for MAT examination but pre-final year degree may not eligible to apply for MAT examination.

The examination will be conducted two modes :- 1)Paper Based Test 2)Computer Based Test.

Management of Aptitude Test has five sections and each section consist of 40 questions.So the total number of questions for MAT examination is 200.

Syllabus for MAT exam :-

• Reading Comprehension :- 40 Questions
• Data Analysis and Data Sufficiency :- 40 questions
• Logical & Critical Reasoning :- 40 questions
• Quantitative Aptitude :- 40 questions
• General awareness :- 40 questions

If you have completed graduation course then you are applicable for MAT exam.Their is no marks criteria .So any graduate from recognized university are applicable for MAT exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR MAT EXAM

The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT 2012 is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University .

Final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc.)can also apply.

There is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation which is different for different management institutes and universities.

FORM AVAILABILITY----First week of January-2012
LAST DATE-----17 January 2012 (Tuesday)

EXAM DATE----Paper Based Test 05 February 2012 (Sunday) / Computer Based Test 11 February 2012 (Saturday)

SYLLABUS FOR MAT EXAM

MAT has 5 Sections:

1. Quantitative Ability
2. Reading Comprehension
3. Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency
4. Logical Reasoning
5. General Knowledge

NOTE:-

• Total number of questions: 200; 40 in each section
• Duration of the MAT: 150 minutes.
• Marking: 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 negative marking on wrong answers.
