SI stands for the Sub Inspector. For becoming SI, you need to clear all the stages of Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate level exam.

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university is the minimum requirement for this exam. The minimum age limit for some of the posts is 18 years and upper age limit is 30 years. Relaxation in upper age limit of three years to OBC and five years to SC/ST respectively.

The last date for online application is 11/06/2015. You can apply online for this exam at www.ssconline.nic.in.

SSC CGL has three stages:

>>Tier I

>>Tier II.

>> Personal interview.
