To be eligible to pursue Aerospace Engineering course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with PCM stream from a Government recognised board. After completion of your 12th standard, you have to appear in engineering entrance examinations like EAMCET, JEE, etc., to get admission for pursuing Aerospace Engineering course. By qualifying the examination and participating in the counselling process, you will be offered admission in a particular college for pursuing Aerospace Engineering course.

The eligibility criteria for admission in engineering course:

1. You must opt for science stream in 12th. Your important subjects in 12th should include Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

If you have not opted for PCM subjects then you will not be eligible for admission in Aerospace engineering.

2. PCM candidates can apply for Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education for admission in top engineering colleges like Indian Institute of technology.

After 10th, you must have Physics, Chemistry and Maths to be eligible for appearing Engineering entrance exams.

In case, you have opted for PCM along with Biology, then also you are eligible for engineering entrance exams.

You must apply for exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, MH CET, COMEDK, etc. and qualify these exams with good AIRs.

In this way, you can get admission into decent engineering college.

While counselling, you must choose Aerospace Engineering as your preferred branch.

Engineerings in present time is one of the most preferred course in present time. The subjects necessary for engineering course is Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in higher secondary board examination.

Candidates with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology can apply for engineering entrance examination. Next step is to apply for engineering examination called Joint Entrance Examination.

JEE is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. This exam has two stages where first stage is called JEE Main and Second stage is JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced score is used for admission in Indian Institute of Technology.

Aerospace Engineering is one of the best disciplines of engineering. This stream of engineering has good career opportunities and offers huge salary. But you must try to pursue this course from top engineering colleges of India which is Indian Institute of Technology.

IITs admission are done on basis of rank in Joint Entrance Exam Advanced stage. Candidates who clear JEE Main are eligible for JEE Advanced. You should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics . There are two consecutive attempts for JEE Advanced stage and three for JEE Main.

Hello,

After 10th you will need to go for 10+2 (11th and 12th std) with PCM as your subjects. After completion, you can appear for entrance exams that ensure admission into Aerospace Engineering Colleges. Most colleges give admission based on the merit score of EAMCET, JEE, etc.

All the Best
