Sir/Mam,

I have passed B.A. General and I want to join Indian Army. Can you tell me about the various posts available for me in Indian Army? Waiting for your reply. It will be really helpful if you can guide me with the complete information on this?

# All aspirants of joining Indian Army with educational qualification must appeared in the Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission two times in a year for the followings branches/academies of the Indian defence forces:

* Naval Academy (NR)
* Air Force Academy (AFA)
* Indian Military Academy (IMA)
* Officer Training Academy (OTA)

# Required educational qualification:

* Must in possession of any bachelor degree.
* No need of any prescribed percentage marks. Only passing marks are enough.
* Candidate in the final year of graduation are also eligible.


# Required age limit for different academies for Indian defence forces:

* 19-22 for Naval Academy (NR)
* 19-23 for Air Force Academy (AFA)
* 19-24 years for Indian Military Academy (IMA).
* 19-25 years for Officer Training Academy (OTA).

# Other eligibility conditions which are needed by candidates are:

* Must be citizen of India or subject of Nepal.
* Must not be married.
* Must be male candidate except for Officer Training Academy (OTA).
* Must not have anti-social or anti-national activity or record.
* Must have good physique and health.
* Must not have any serious or critical disease.
* Must have vision of 6/6 (for good eye) and 6/9 (for bad eye).
* Must not have any bodily defect or abnormality.

# Stages involved in the selection process of Combined Defence Service (CDS) Examination are:

* Objective Type Written Test
* SSB Interview
* Physical & Medical Test

* Computer Knowledge
