we are running a degree college in NAGINA distt. Bijnor UP. and want to open a centre of distance courses as B.Ed. etc
please write the procedure in this regard

For opening open and distance learning centre The UGC has laid down some criterion following which you can set up these institutions.

1. You must have an institute having area of 2500-5000 square feet.

2. The centre must have state of the art computing facility.

3. The centre must get affiliated to any university providing affiliation like IGNOU

4. These institute must conduct audits and authorize to provide educational services

4. You must register in the Directorate of distance education.

5. The UGC will conduct Audits every year

6. Third party audits can be done every 3 year
