Public Service Commission exams are conducted by respective state of India for various posts in several departments and the exam dates and their eligibility criteria vary. As you have not mentioned any particular exam so it is not possible to assist you to the point but it is suggested that you follow the official website of the concerned state PSC to get the required details.

ELIGIBILITY 1. EDUCATION QUALIFICATION Bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university or law graduate/science graduated in horiculture/Agriulture graduate /commerce graduated degree in science with physics/PG degree in ARTS,SCIENCE OR COMMERCE OR TECHONOLOGY ETC 2.AGE LIMIT 21 TO 35 YRS Relaxationfor sc/st/obc upto 5 yrs. 4.closing date for sale & receipt of application forms is 24th feb 2012. selection process include 3 stage 1. preliminary exam 2.main exam 3.interview FEE the fee shall be taken from every candidate with cost of OMR application FORM. DETAILS are printed on the OMR envelops. for general/OBC - 230/- FOR SC/ST - 110/- you will be able to go to II stage only if you clear the I Stage (prelimi) you will reach to the III stage (interview) only after clear I AND II. Here is the eligibility criteria for PSC exams-->> 1 Age- candidate must have attained min 21 years and must have not crossed upper age 35 years on 1 july 2012. age relaxation-candidate who belong to ST/SC/OBS/dependent of freedom fighter of exam conducting state will get 5 years age relaxation. five years age relaxation for army men who served army for atleast 5 years,national level players and PH candidates. 2 Education qualification-candidates must have graduation degree in any field from any recognized university.if candidates have any special certificates then they should send these with application,such candidates may be posted on the vacancies related to that courses if they are vacant. 3 if any one already married then he /she must have one wife/husband,respective court should issue such certificate. syllabus related to general studies in PSC exams- general science, history of india, Indian national movement, Indian economy, Indian politics, agriculture and trade, world geography, current events, general knowledge, population , environment etc. Hope you got your answer. NO you cannot appear in the UPSC Civil Services Exams just after passing class 12th
You need to fulfil the below eligibity to apply for this exams: Educational Qualification : A Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognised University. Final year appeared/appearing candidates can also apply. Age Limit : General Category-21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam OBC-21-33yrs SC/ST-21-35yrs Attempts : General Category-4 times OBC-7 times SC/ST-Unlimited times |

1)A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination. 2)The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification. My questuon is I just passed my 12 exams and my age is 18 and i know that i can't appear for psc exam but i want to ask that can study for psc exam till i crossed 21 and after that i can appear for the exam?

i am a student of mathematics honours 2nd year. I want to be a assistant teacher after my graduation and beside that i want to continue higher study in math.so please assist me what examination do i have to crack to be a assistant teacher? i am from west bengal
