When should I apply for IAS exam? Study material for the same?


I want to give the IAS exams...

When should I apply for it?
How should I prepare for the exam and what material should I refer to?

HI!
I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

After graduation you can apply for I.A.S exam.

I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Age should be in between 21-30 year. For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-33 year.

You can apply online or offline.
The Form cost is just 20 Rs.

IAS means INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE this exam is conducted by the UPSC once a year the minimum qualification for this exam is graduation from a recognized university.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.They are not require any kind of percentage marks .

So the best time to prepare for IAS exam is first year of your graduation degree .

But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.Also you must be in citizen in India.

The IAS selection process is consist in three way

1)Preliminary exam
2)Main exam
3)Inter View.

Preliminary Examination consists of Two Papers-
  • Paper I — General Studies 150 marks
  • Paper II — An Optional subject 300 marks.

my pgecet rank is 2950.. which colleges i get to do my M.Tech in VLSI... please list the TOp 10 colleges which i get through this rank...
