what is the net exam ?
i am interested to appear for this exam.

UGC NET exam held twice a year, in the months of June and December. The notifications announcing the June and December examinations are published in the months of March and September

you can apply online only on the UGC website:-www.ugc.ac.in.

Eligibility:- Post graduation in any subject with 55% from any recognised
university.

Agelimit:- for jrf 28 years
for lecturership, no upper age limit

the notification will be published 26th september 2011 for december month exam.

Exam will be held on 24th december(saturday) 2011.

Exam date will be held in 24-12-2011

It will be conduct twice in a year. in the month of june and december

It is good for goverment lecturer jobs and research jobs

The Details of NET exam schedule:-


The NET exam date is18-12-2011 But still UGC have not published application brochure .

The application details will be published in 26th September,2011.So you have to prepare well for NET exam.

There are one declaration is announced UGC . No negative Marking in Paper-I and Paper -II exam.

Online form will available after 26th September.

Date of Close of Online Submission: 13-09-2011

Last Date of Receipt of Duly Completed Hard Copy of Online Application Forms: 16-09-2011

Application fees for General-450
OBC-250
SC/ST-150

The candidates who want to take part in JRF should not be older than 28 yrs. as on 01.06.2011
Age Relaxation: – Candidates are belonging to reserved category as: – SC/ST/OBC/PH/VH along with women will get up to 5 yrs relaxation in the upper age.

th date of examination is 26.6.2011
