Every year the civil services examination is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission).

One can join into various civil services like
-IAS
-IPS
-IRS by cracking this civil services examination.

Here is the selection procedure for a candidate to be placed in above civil services.

-CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
-Civil Services Main Examination
-Interview

For this academic year, civil services exam was over and if you are interested you can appear for upcoming civil services examination which is going to be conducted in the next academic year.

Here are the important dates regarding upcoming civil services examination.

-Date of commencement of notification : 04-02-2012
-Last date for the receipt of completed application forms : 05-03-2012
-Date of civil services exam : 20-05-2012.

INFORMATION REGARDING ON CIVIL SERVICE EXAM 2012

Every year UPSE conduct civil service exam in the month of February /march.
UPSE declared already date of notification ,last date of application and exam date for CIVIL SERVICE EXAM 2012
so candidate want to apply for 2012 civil service.
qualification : a candidate should be graduate with any stream with recognized university.
age: a candidate should be 21 to 30 year age relaxation for
SC/ST CANDIDATE : 5 YEAR
OBC CANDIDATE: 3 YEAR
EX-SERVICEMAN : 5 YEAR
the examination pattern is
>> preliminary exam
>> CSAT EXAM
>> interview

exam notification : 04/02/2012
last post date : 03/03/2012
exam date : 20/05/2012
so if you want to be a part of civil service exam apply for that,
the notification published on web site www.upse.gov.in
and employment news also in month of february 2012.
exam form: you can buy form from any post office after pay 30/- rs. and also apply online on web site of upse http://www.upse.gov.in

Complete Information About Civil Service Exams

Eligibility Criteria :-

According to the UPSC guidelines..a candidate must satisfy the following criterion to appear for the Civil Service Exam :-

1) You need to be a graduate or a final year graduation student in any stream from a recognized college..

2) You should be in the age limit of 21-30 years for general category,21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 years for SC/ST

The maximum number of attempts allowed for the general category is 4,for OBC it is 7 and for SC/ST there is no limit..

Exam Pattern :-

There are 2 rounds for clearing this exam

1) Prelims :- This round..also known as Civil Service Aptitude Test(CSAT) has 2 objective papers which will test your general knowledge,current affairs and aptitude..

2) Mains :- If you clear the Prelims,then you shall qualify for the Mains where you will face nine papers..where your knowledge of your graduation subjects shall be tested..

If you clear both the rounds..you shall be called for the interview and the final selection..

Important Dates :-

The forms shall be available to you in the month of February..

The Prelims are held in last week of May and the results for the Prelims shall be declared in the first half of August..

The Mains shall be conducted in the last week of October and the results shall be announced in the mid of March..

The interview shall be held in the last week of April and the result shall be announced within 2 weeks of the interview..

Civil service examinations are conducted by UPSC every years.
for appear in this exams you must have to complete your graduation in any disciple from a recognized college.the age limit for these exams like IAS,IPS etc etc is 21-30,
there are 5 years of age relaxation are applicable for SC\ST candidates
also here are 3 years relaxation with regards of age is given to OBC (OTHER BACKWARD CLASS) .
these exams have three stages of examinations-
1.CSAT\PRELIMS
2.MAINS
3.INTERVIEW.

If you want to be suceed in Civil Service examination, you need a systematic study and proper planning for study. I suggest you please study your 10Th, 11Th and 12Th examination NCERT Books, Only then You will be able to Crack the UPSC Preliminary Examination.

Civil Services Exam Will be held in Three Round .
1. Preliminary Exam
2. Main Examination
3. Interview Test
1. Preliminary Exam - This is an objective type questions based test which if the candidate passes, qualifies tothe second phase.
2. Main Exam - This is a subjective type questions based test which if the candidate passes, passes to the third phase after clear this you can go for interview round
