for summer training you can apply for the training in the ntpc,sail,optcl,tata steel and many more.......

You can apply for summer training when you are free & your college exams are finished.Probably during your holidays after completion of your exams.......

And you can chose any industry related to EEE...

Most companies don't take 2nd year student sfor summer training becoz nothing core is taught still then.
better try luck at NTPC,NALCO,HAL.
