Summer Training for B.Tech students at ALTTC, BSNL
Advanced Level Telecommunication Training Centre conducts summer training programmes for final year B.Tech students. Selection procedure is carried out on first come first serve basis. Candidates who wish to join the summer training programme are required to send the application form in prescribed format, along with supporting documents. The duration of the training programme is four to six months. Average course fee is Rs. 6700/-.
Eligibility Criterion for Summer/Industrial Training
Candidates who are studying in second or third year in Bachelor of Technology in following streams are eligible to apply for this Summer Training Programme.

- Electronics & Instrumental Engineering
- Computer Science Engineering
- Information Technology Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
Candidates who are studying in institutes which are approved by AICTE are eligible to apply.
Details on Summer/Industrial Training at ALTTC, BSNL
Advanced Level Telecommunication Training Centre usually conducts the summer training programme in the months of April, May, June and July. The duration of the course ranges between four to six weeks. The class timings will be from 10 AM to 13 PM. Usually the training centre conducts classes nine hours a week. There are only limited seats for this programme. Hence candidates are advised to apply for the programme as soon as possible.
The six week training programme gives intense training in topics such as Digital Switching and Transmission, Telecom Finance, Telecom Management and Instructional Technology etc.
Application Procedure for Summer /Industrial Training at ALTTC, BSNL
Candidates who seek admission for the summer training programme are required to download the application form from the official website of the institute. Fully filled in application forms along with two copies of recent passport size photos, Copy of identity card issued by University or Institution, sponsorship letter copy from respective institute and details of fee payment should be sent by speed/registered post to “Divisional Engineer (New Courses), Room No. 102, Administration Building, ALTTC, Ghaziabad” within stipulated time.
Fees Structure of Summer/Industrial Training
Candidates are required to pay Rs. 4, 500/- as course fee. Candidates who opt for 6 weeks programme has to pay Rs 6,760/-. Candidates have to make the payment by taking a Demand Draft from any nationalised banks, in favour of the Accounts Officer (Cash), BSNL, ALTTC, Ghaziabad, payable at Ghaziabad. Apart from this, candidates who use hostel facility are required to pay Rs. 2000/-.

There are many good telecom training institute in india which provides telecom training.
I am mentioning some of them along with advantages and disadvantages of each, according to reviews which i have read and got from some of my friends
who have joined their telecom training.

Advantages : 1.) Oldest telecom Big name company which provides telecom training courses
2.) Courses available in most of the locations in India so not location specific.
Disadvantages: 1.) Poor “Babu” type teaching as it is govt company
2.) Course syllabus outdated
3.) High Fees

Advantages: 1.) New and one of the best telecom training institute which provides good online telecom courses
2.) Cheapest Telecom Courses provided by it among all other telecom training institutes.
3.) Updated Course syllabus and good study material,Provides online Telecom courses all over India so not location specific.
Disadvantages:1.) Telecom Courses provided are very good but are Online,so not useful for those who are interested in Classroom Teaching
3.) MTNL [www.mtnl.net]
Advantages : 1.) Another Govt company which has its name in metro cities.
2.) Provides their own Certification ,but now a days telecom companies do not recruit students on basis of certification
but recruit them on basis of their subject knowledge.
Disadvantages: 1.) Again “Babu” type teaching
2.) Provides courses only in Mumbai and Delhi

Advantages: 1.) Course syllabus updated
2.) Provides their own Certification ,but now a days telecom companies do not recruit students on basis of certification
but recruit them on basis of their subject knowledge.
Disadvantages: 1.) provides classes only in Jaipur so location specific.

3.) Provides job assistance in small telcom consultancies which pays u arnd 7k -8k per month.Is it worth the fees paid ?
