Well can you please do tell me that whether, am i eligible for writing EAMCET exam in 2017 as my date of birth is 10th February 2000?

The Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test acronym as EAMCET is conducted by JNTU Hyderabad on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education Council.

For this examination candidate must have passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The minimum percentage required for Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test is 45% and case of general category and 40% in case of reserved category.

As you said that your date of birth is 10th February, 2000 that means you will attained the age of 17 on 10th February, 2017. So you can write the EAMCET 2017 exam. For this exam candidates should attained the age of 17 on 31st December, 2017. So you are eligible for this exam. Thanks

EAMCET Eligibility criteria for Engineering

1. Candidates should be the citizen of India

2. Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or its equivalent examination.

3. In case of Engineering, Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age as on 31 st. December of the year of examination. There is no upper age limit.

In case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech (FS and T) and B.SC(CA and BM), candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and the upper age limit for general category is 22 years and 25 years for SC/ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission.
