Age criteria for EAMCET 2017
I was born in april 21st, 2000. I am going to appear EAMCET exam in the year 2017 presently, i have completed my first year boards. Am i eligible to write 2017 EAMCET exam?

EAMCET stands for Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. It is a State level entrance examination conducted by JNTUH and JNTUK for offering admission to undergraduate courses in professional colleges in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Age Criteria for EAMCET 2017 :- => You must be at least 16 years as on 31st December, 2017 (in case of Engineering and Pharmacy) courses. => If you are interested to apply for admission in B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. As per the information you have provided in your query, you was born on April 21st, 2000, that means, you are 16 years 3 months old at present, by completion of your 12th standard, you will attain the age of 17 years, so, you are eligible to appear in EAMCET 2017 examination. |

EAMCET is the entrance test conducted for admission in engineering institutes of Andhra Pradesh state. The minimum age for appearing in EAMCET is 17 years as on 31st Dec. of the year of appearing in exam. So as per your 'date of birth'(April 21st, 2000), you are eligible to appear in EAMCET 2017.

Age criteria for EAMCET 2017
Candidate must have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December 2017. If you are applying for B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering) and B.Tech. (FST) then you need to be of 17 years as on 31st December 2017 The upper age limit of 22 years for general candidates and 25 years for SC and ST candidates as on 31st December 2016. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category people. |

To apply for this entrance examination candidate need to be of Indian nationality. The candidate should belong to Andhra Pradesh state Candidate must have passed 12th with PCM or PCB with minimum 45% marks general category and 40% reserve categories Candidate must have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December 2017 Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category people The upper age limit of 22 years for general candidates and 25 years for SC and ST candidates as on 31st December 2016. |

There are different age limits for different courses like in the recent Andhra EAMCET, the age criteria were as follows-
1) For engineering pharmacy course, you should be at-least 16 years of age. 2) For B.tech in dairy or Agriculture engineering you should lie in the range of 16-22 years 3)For pharma D course, you should have completed at least 17 years. So, as you an see the age criteria varies as course to course and state to state. So, whichever state you want to give EAMCET, download is brochure from its official site and read it carefully. EAMCET stands for Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Test. This entrance examination is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University for admission of candidates into undergraduate courses of different disciplines like engineering, agriculture, medical and pharmacy courses etc.
For engineering course, candidate must have done 10+2 from a recognized board with PCM subject and for medical courses, subjects necessary are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Minimum of 50% marks is required in board exams to apply for this exam. The minimum age limit to apply for this exam is 17 years. You will be 17 years old on 21st April, 2017. You are eligible to apply for this exam next year as per your age limit. |

The full form of EAMCET is Engineering, Agriculture Medicine Common Entrance test. Eligibility criteria for this exam is :
1. Academic eligibility: Engineering aspirants should have science stream with Mathematics and for medical courses, it is science stream with biology. 2.
