Re: Whether Arts students are eligible to apply for CTET exam or not?
Yes, you should be a graduate, that's it. But you are not eligible as you do not have your B.Ed or related programme's degree or you are neither in the final year of your B.Ed programme. Here is the attachment to have a look further

Yes, you should be a graduate, that's it. But you are not eligible for it as neither are you in your final year of B.Ed or related diploma course nor have you completed your B.Ed as mentioned in your post. Here, is the attachment regarding the same.

Re: Whether Arts students are eligible to apply for CTET exam or not?
CTET is conducted by CBSE for recruitment as teacher in primary and TGT.
The eligibility varies for Primary and TGT. For primary teacher recruitment the required qualification is that candidate must have passed 12th or higher secondary with D.Ed qualification. For selection as TGT it is compulsory that candidate must have completed bachelor degree and have passed B.Ed qualification. So, if you have done D.El.Ed or B.Ed course then you are eligible to appear in entrance examination. |

Re: Whether Arts students are eligible to apply for CTET exam or not?
CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test and it is held by CBSE for recruitment of teachers in various government funded and private schools affiliated to CBSE.
So, being a graduate student with BFA in Applied Art degree course, you are eligible for appearing in the CTET, but you will have to pursue a teacher training course such as B.Ed/D.Ed/D.El.Ed, etc. for that rather than going for MA ( Master of Arts ). For more details regarding CTET eligibility conditions, you can refer to the link www.ctet.nic.in. |

Re: Whether Arts students are eligible to apply for CTET exam or not?
The eligibility to appear in CTET examination is that :-
Primary Teacher - higher secondary with minimum 50% and diploma in elementary education. TGT - Bachelor degree with minimum 50% and diploma or bachelor degree in education. So, if you have above qualification then you are eligible to appear in examination for recruitment as teacher. |
