Am I eligible for CTET exam after post graduation M.Sc or I have to do B.Ed for giving CTET exam?
Is b.ed compulsory for ctet exam? Can someone please give me the information on this?

Yes, you are eligible for CTET exam.

If you have completed 12th standard from a recognized board then you are eligible for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) recruitment.

If you have completed graduation degree from a recognized university then you are eligible for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage recruitment.

Submission of Online Application: 04th December 2015 to 28th December 2015

Last Date for Online Submission of Application: 29th December 2015

Date of Exam: 21st February 2016

Yes, B.Ed is compulsory to be eligible to appear in CTET examination. For becoming teacher for classes I-V, B.Ed is not required and you must have completed 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education. For becoming teacher for classes V-VIII, ou must have completed Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in first year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). Since, you have done your post graduation in M.Sc. course, you need to do B.Ed course to be eligible to appear in CTET examination.

Sorry, you have to study either B.Ed or Diploma in Elementary Education for CTET. The eligibilities are different for the Teachers for Classes I-V (Primary Stage) and Teachers for Classes VI- VIII (Elementary Stage). No, you require B.ed degree to appear for CTET examination. CTET examination is conducted by CBSE for recruitment of teachers in government schools.

The eligibility to appear for examination for recruitment as senior secondary teacher is candidate must have passed graduation with at least 50% marks and have B.Ed degree.

CTET Eligibility:-

Candidates who have 12th passed are eligible for CTET paper 1 .

And Candidates who have completed graduation with minimum 50%marks are eligible for paper 2.
