I got 79% in class 12th will i get admission in BITs pillani? Am I eligible to get admission?

According to BITS the eligibility criteria for seeking admission is mentioned below:-

The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.

Admission in BITs, Pilani

According to the eligibility criteria of BITSAT you are not eligible for appear in the BITSAT exam. For admission in the BITs, Pilani you need the following eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria for BITSAT :-

To appear in the BITSAT exam candidate have minimum 80% aggregate
marks in the PCM subject in 12th std. with at least 60% marks in each
of physics, chemistry and in mathematics subject.

So, according to eligibility criteria you are not eligible for BITSAT exam.

Sorry friend you must have obtained minimum 80% as an aggregate to get

admitted in BITS PILANI. For admission to any of the first degree programmes

in BITS pilani the candidate should have passed the 12th class examination

and should have obtained a minimum of 80% aggregate marks in Physics,

Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th class examination, at least 60%

marks in each of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and adequate

proficiency in English

If you want to take admission in BITS, then you have to appear for BITSAT.

Eligibility:
80% aggregate in PCM & 60% each in Physics , chem & maths.

So, if you are satisfying above criteria & still getting less than 80% aggregate in 12th, you are still eligible.

what is basis of this efficiency in english in bits?is there any separate test? is there a problem in admission if i have dropped a year for preparation in bits pilani?

my friend scored 81% in pcm and 65% in phy, 69% in chem and 62 % in cbse board will he get a admission in bits or will he have to write a bitsat examination

my son got overall PCM 92% But in PHYSICS He scored 60.5%(57/90) in state board including theory and practical of 12th standard . Will he be eligible for BITSAT Admission.
