Can i get a seat in a government engineering college if my aieee AIR is 50000-55000?

Dear Friend

With this all india rank in AIEEE you can't get a seat
in some good college during first round of central
counseling of AIEEE.

However this rank is not too far from the critical AIR
at which seat allotment is closed in first round.

So, you should appear for central counseling
(if called for counseling) and you should participate
in the subsequent rounds of central counseling.
This way there are chances of getiing a college
if you stay patient.

The chances of getting an NIT/IIIT is quiet low
but you should try for the possibilities.

Your rank is not very good. So you have less probability to get chance in NIT/IIIT. But you shoud attend the counciling if you get chance in good colleges.

Well in this range of rank government colleges are out of scope

for you, generally last 25000 rank around students can expect to get a seat in NITs


Still its an average rank considering there are some good private colleges

which come in your range,

Try to get colleges in maharastra (mumbai/pune)

Delhi NCR colleges,

and some colleges in south, inquire in detail about fee structure, faculty and placements of

a college before joining.

Hello.... I have given my AIEEE Barch 2011 and I have scored 148marks.....my ranks are as follows:
AIR : overall - 23649
category - 15893
STATE RANK :
overall - 2190
category - 1451.....
My question is that will I get into a good college during the aieee councling process 2011???
My options are 1. VNIT, Nagpur
2.SPA, Vijaywada.......etc.......
Where can I get admission with this ranks??

I my opinion you can not get government college after getting 50000-55000 rank in A.I.E.E.E exam.
You can take admissions in any other private college in India.

If you want to take admissions in Govt Engineering college you rank should be in between 1-23,000.
