Fee Structure of Advanced Diploma in Jewellery Design
Jewellery designing is fast becoming one of the hottest career options of today. With more and more people interested in it, it is a lucrative career promising work with the Jewellery industry. The Jewellery industry is so well developed in the world that there is always a scarcity of designers at the end of the year. There are various courses available for Jewellery designing, but most of the institutes offer an Advanced Diploma program right after 10+2.
The fee structure of Advanced Diploma in Jewellery designing depends on different institutes. The Jewellery Design and Technology Institute, New Delhi, or Better known as JTDI charges a total fee of Rs. 200,000 for a 2 years diploma, with fee breakup as 30,000 in the first semester, 30,000 in the second semester, 55000 in the third semester, and 100,000 in the 4th semester. The NIFT, New Delhi charges a fee of Rs. 40,000 per semester for the Jewellery design course, but it varies with income levels of the applicant, with 30,000 for income up to 3 lakhs, 20,000 for income up to 2 lakhs, and 10,000 for income up to 1 lakh. The Gandhi Institute of Fashion Technology in Ahmedabad charges a fee of Rs. 35,000 for the whole 2 year course.
The Xavier’s college of Fashion Design charges Rs. 18,000 for a 3 month certificate course. The JSS University in Mysore charges a fee of Rs. 10,000 per annum for its Jewellery design course. The Arch Academy of Design in Jaipur charges Rs. 60,000 per annum for their two year course on Jewellery Designing. In order to study in the Indian Institute of Jewellery you need to shell around Rs. 70,000 per annum for the 2 year diploma. The fees of various institutes vary according to the repute of the institute and the university it is affiliated with, so there is no particular or general fee structure in this regard and great variation is noticed.
