Yes there will be descriptive test in clerical exam cadre. The usually the questions will be asked on socio-economic issues like poverty, agriculture, government policies etc. There may be letter writing questions as well. There will be passage writing in which you will be given a long passage and you have to summarize the same in some word limit. There may be question from current affairs too.
