i want to know that is this years gate is the toughest exam,some of my friends are telling so ,if so then please tell what would be the cut off marks this year

in every year the gate exam paper to select very toughest all over india and cut of list for depands on exam paper.so do you are hard work and my wish to you the gate paper is select easy for 2010 year paper.

No gate is not the toughest exam,IAS stands at top,then comes CAT & IIT-JEE.

no GATE is not the toughest exam as such there is no such notification of any changes in the exam pattern

no offcourse not..
the thing is that its going to be bit tougher because of recession many more students than previous year will give the exam

no this year's gate is not tough,speculations are made that it may come tough but its not actually that way.the main change that gate had made is that it is gonig to give some aptitude questions along with technical questions

it is expected that this years gate exam may be the toughest exam as compared to previous years because of inclusion of aptitude

i want to tell you that there was an article in "the hindu" news paper which told that this years GATE exam was going to be toughest when compared to previous years and there is nothing wrong in knowing what we are going to face than blindly facing it,

Yes it is expected that GATE exam is going to be more tougher this year,because of increasing number of aspirant for it.

There is more then 10 percent growth in number of students then it was in the previous year.

yr cut off is not been told before but gate exam is not too tough if u have ur basics cleared but it needs ur speed that is how much fast and accurate u are during ur test

NO....definitely GATE is not a tough one....if you simply understand the basics...you are fairly answer the questions....

it's tough if you will allow it to be so ,............... be confidenton yourself

the GATE this this year is not the toughest,it is as usual,but there are some changes which have been made like:

1)from this year again the validity of the score card has been restored to two years.
2)and a new section comprising of some aptitude questions is introduced.

so if the toughness increases then it will increase for all the students.and there is percentile concept,so it will not matter much.

so dont worry and just prepare well

gate is tough exams but there are manny more exams are tougher than gate exams like cat exams.

this is not true that gate is toughest exam in this year in 2010.
but if we compare it with its own previous year exam,then number of student appearing this year is more than previous year.

Its not so.... They changed question patter... Introduced aptitude, verbal reasoning.... This may give competition....

you cant calculate that every year the paper is set by different officials so you cant predict however the pattern and marks distribution will remain same

no the world toughest exam is CAT and then IIT. gate is not so tough you thinking if you do hard work then you will be able to clear it. so dont think about how tough it is just concentrate on it and study well

hello dear i dont think the gate was the toughest this year because every year you ask the candidates appeared they will tell the same because they have never faced those questions before so thats why they feel it as very tough and hence give such remarks that the exam was tough and will have a very low cut off but it is not so my friend well planned and well prepared students make it to their bet of abilities and hence score high so better be prepared for a good result and hope you get selected .. all the best and good luck.. bye take care and dont get disheartend..you are gonna make it..

yes you can said that gate is the tough exams in india , because there are short increase in number of student in gate exams. then may be it is tough exams.

gate is tough exams, it is true because you have to get lots of practice to get good marks in gate exams.

gate exams is tough because, you have to prepare accordingly and there are lots of efferts are made to pass the exams. so you can say the it is tough eams.

i appeared for the gate this year and beleive me the papers were a lot easier than the previous years
i am expexcting the cutoff to be high especially for CSE
but still the IAS stands on the top on the list of tough exams

even gate is more easier than UPSC exams....
It require little efforts to crack gate with good percentile....

gate exams cutt off marks for cse or it is 25 marks
and this year no. of students are increases so
exams are little tough

it was not fact that this year gate was the toughest exam,
it is the fact that this year there is more students give the exam of gate,
however the qualifying marks was only 25 ,marks for most of the branch in case of the general category candidates.
so this is not true,

this year gate was not at all among the tpugh papers.the question was very easy .
the competition though was little tough.the cut off marks was little low.
so there is no question gate papers being tough.

this years gate was easier than previous years but even then the cut of marks were reduced,i dont know the reason for it,
but there were huge increase in the number of candidates this year

Every year GATE exam has it's own status,it is not true that this year the exam is going to be tougher,
The questions will be asked as it is asked every year.
So do not bother about it,just do your preparation well.
It is true that this year more students are giving for the exam,the expected increasing rate is 10% every year.

i myself gave gate.
the pattern was of last types of years.
try to concentrate on your capability,you will suceed.

actually questions were the simple ones but problem was there were more aspirants because of recession... so to get into iit for open catagory

the ration was like 250 : 100000 = 1 : 400 which is too high even more than CAT. But cutoff is nearly same . i.e. in 2009 student with 50 marks had around 300

rank same for this year. Also level off difficulty was less. So I think those who prepared well should get iit

GATE is the toughest exam every year.
A lot of hard work is required to crack GATE paper.
