Are Banking exams easier than other Government service recruitment exams?

Hello,
I am studying in B.Com and want to do Government service.
I am also planning to give Banking exams.
But I want to know that preparing for Banking exams
is good and easier or preparing for other government exams
is good and easier?

Let me clear you one thing that nothing is easy or difficult, it totally depends upon your approach towards that goal.

Banking entrance exams like IBPS or government service recruitment exams are of same level. First you must decide in which sector you want to shape your career. Cracking government jobs nowadays require dedication, determination, devotion and hard work as competition is increasing nowadays more and more.

Vacancies are less and number of candidates is more and more. So you need to make space for yourself by your hard labour and talent that will differentiate you from rest of candidates.

In both the exams, questions are generally from:

>>Reasoning

>>Quantitative Aptitude

>>General awareness

>>English

>>Banking awareness for Banking entrance exams.

>>Current affairs.

So, if you work hard to make command over these areas mentioned above, you can get successful in both the exams. Practice previous years papers for better understanding of paper pattern and questions.

Never fear about being unsuccessful, go ahead and work hard, everything is easy. The only thing that can stop your from being successful is you.

Yes, Banking exams are flexible and easier than other Government Recruitment examinations. I am very happy to say that, you can find low to medium standard questions in Staff Selection Commission Exams and Postal Department Exams. As you are a B.Com Graduate and if you can prepare for Bank exams very well, I am sure you will be getting job in Banking Sector. Whichever the decision taken by you is absolutely correct and so I suggest you to proceed with both Banking Exams and Staff Selection Commission Exams. You are required to concentrate on the following sections namely, Reasoning, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Awareness and General Awareness. Remember the biggest hurdle in Banking exams is "Sectional Cutoff". You are required to score minimum qualifying marks in each section and so be careful while preparing for all the mentioned sections.

Yes I think Bank exams are easier than other Competitive exams since the Syllabus is very limited and the mode of the examination is same when compared with the year by year. But this is not the case in Other Exams. Besides that there is a tough competition for the Bank exams .

So My best suggestion is to you can start prepare for the Bank exams first than if you get a job and you can work for a one or two years .And in the mean while you can prepare for the Other Exams like Staff Selection Commission.

As Nothing is Impossible and Nothing is possible both these depends on you and what you think about yourself.
You cannot say that whether Banking examination is examination is easier or other government examination as about thousands of students apply for it and only some of them are able to qualify in it.

So it is up to you and your hard work and dedication towards that led you to achieve success.

I would say that govt jobs are most secure and promising job than private sector as per the growth is slow but one can excel well on his career.
As compared to government services ,banking exam are quite easier but the level of competition for both the exam is same.
due to limited no of seats in govt services there is so much competition so you have to prepare well for clearing this exam.
For banking exams one with good preparation can clear the exam .
So you should start preparing for the banking exam after securing seats there you can further apply for govt services.
The advantages of govt services are more compared to banking jobs in respect to salary ,perks and facilities.
But the competition is tough for govt services exam as compared to banking exams.

Preparation of no government examination is tough or easier it is just out mental thinking that some exams are tough but some are easier but I would like to let you know that if you have the ability to work hard and really dedicated then you can qualify UPSC IAS examination easily but if you do not work hard and think that it is tough or easy to qualify then it would not be easy to take any exam in your favour which is why just remove this mentality and start preparation for what you are thinking right time.

When you have thought to prepare for banking examinations then you must start preparation because there are many career growth opportunities in banking sector which are more than any other sector at present therefore you have a right choice and opinion for your career so lets start preparation for banking exams.

IBPS conduct bank exams for clerk, PO and specialist officer post so you can apply for Clerk and PO examination on B.Com basis because these exams requires only graduation.

If you think for other exams then some other exams may be tough or easy for you because in banking, you have to qualify each section asked with total cut off marks required and if you take SSC then you have to qualify the examination with total marks secured in all subjects means no minimum cut off marks required to pass every subject and you are free to attempt any section you want to, so choice is yours.

For your help, I have uploaded calender of both SSC and IBPS exams therefore you must download and get full details of exams with dates and start preparation.
