Actually I want to know that Can i apply rpf SI while my birth of date is 20/08/1983? I dob is really confusing me to decide whether yes or no.

No, you cannot apply for the post of RPF Sub-Inspector being 31 years old because the age limit to appear for the RPF SI exam is 20 to 25 years. The candidates who wish to appear for the RPF SI exam must satisfy the following eligibility criteria as mentioned below :-

1.Educational Qualification :-
-->For Executive Branch :- You must have completed bachelor's Degree or equivalent from a recognized University.
-->For Fire Service Branch :- You must have completed Intermediate/Higher Secondary (10 + 2) with Science and Sub. Officers Course or its equivalent Diploma in Science or Fire Fighting.

2.Age Limit :-
The minimum age required to appear for the RPF SI exam is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years to appear for the RPF SI exam. Age relaxation is applicable to the reserved category candidates as per the government rules.

3.Physical Requirements :-
a)Minimum Height for Males :- 165 cms (160 cms for SC/150cms for ST/165 for Ex-S)
Minimum Height for Females :- 157 cms for General/SC/ST/OBC

b)Chest Minimum :- 80 cms (76.2 cms for SC/ST) with expansion of 5 Cms

c)Weight Minimum :- 50 kg for SC and 48 kg for ST.
Note: Height of Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Kumaonese, etc., shall not be less than 160 cms (155 cms for females).

4.Medical Requirements :-
Candidates must possess normal vision without glasses. Candidates having flat feet knock knee, squint eye or any other bodily defect shall not be eligible for examination.
