Re: Which subject should I take after 12th to become a CID Officer?
To become a CID officer after completion of your 12th standard, you need to complete your graduation in science stream in any discipline from a recognised university.
To become a CID officer, you must appear and qualify in the CID or CBI examinations which is conducted by the UPSC every year. To be eligible to become a CID officer you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria :- 1.You must have completed the graduation in science stream in any discipline from a recognised university. 2.The minimum age required for this post is 20 years and the maximum age is of 27 years. Age relaxation is applicable to the reserved category candidates as per the government rules. So, to become a CID officer, you need to appear for the CID or CBI exam and you must qualify in the exam. Since, you have completed 12th standard in PCM branch, you need to complete your graduation degree from a recognised university to be eligible to appear for the exam and to become a CID officer. |
