Sir, I am doing B.A final year, so how can I prepare myself for PCS exam? History , sociology, physical education, these are my subject and my medium is Punjabi. So, can I give this exam in Punjabi. Please tell me?

PCS stands for Punjab Civil Services. It is a combined competitive exam conducted by the Punjab Public Service Commission to make recruitment in different posts in Punjab.

According to the official notification of UPSC Civil Service examination, a candidate can write the mains exam in any of the language listed in the 8th schedule of our constitution. So, you can take PCS exam in Punjabi medium.

The eligibility criteria for PCS exam are as under :-

-The candidate must be a citizen of India,Nepal or Bhutan.

-The candidate should have passed graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

-The candidate who are pursuing final year of their degree course can also apply for the preliminary exam.

-The candidate must have passed Punjabi in 10th or in equivalent standard.

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam is from 21 years to 38 years. There will be relaxation in upper age limit for Scheduled castes and Backward classes candidates of Punjab by 5 years as per the Punjab Govt. instructions.

-Selection criteria :-

* PCS Preliminary Examination ,

* PCS Mains Examination .
