Can I write civil services exam in Telugu medium?
Sir, I studied up to 10th class in Telugu and B.Tech in English medium but I am comfortable in Telugu. Can I write civil services in Telugu medium?

For qualifying IAS exam first you have to give preliminary exam which is available in Hindi and English medium only. But you can write the main exam in Telugu medium. Except English you can write all the papers in Telugu language. Thanks

Yes, definitely you can give civil services exam in Telugu medium.
Moreover if you qualify this entrance exam you can give your interview in Telugu. Civil services exam consists of three stages: Preliminary Exam Mains Exam Personality Test You can give mains exam as well as interview in Telugu mode but preliminary exam, you have to choose English either Hindi medium. |

Yes, you can give your civil service examination in Telugu language, but you have to give your preliminary exam either in English or in Hindi after that you can give your mains exam and interview in Telugu language.

Yes, you can take Civil Service exam in Telugu medium.
Civil service examination have three stages those are as follows: - Preliminary Exam - Mains Exam - Interview In the above three stages, you can attempt the exam in Telugu medium for two stages only and that is mains exam and interview. Preliminary exam is an objective oriented paper and question paper we have in English and Hindi medium only. |

According to the official notification of UPSC Civil Service examination, a candidate can write the mains exam in any of the language listed in the 8th schedule of our constitution.
The 22 languages which are listed in the Eighth Schedule are Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. It is one of the twenty-two scheduled languages of the Republic of India. So, you can take up the exam in Telugu medium. |
