Hi, I have got an E-Mail of HPSSSB recruitment for various posts. But when I have seen those posts, every posts has on contract basis. I didn’t get this. What is contract basis? Can you provide me the details of such contract basis posts?

Details of HPSSSB Recruitment on Contract Basis:

Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board issues recruitment notification for filling up several vacancies under
>> Contract Basis
>> Regular Basis

The basic educational qualification required is 12th Class Pass in 10+2 patter with 2 years ITI in relevant trade / Degree or Diploma in relevant trade or 10th Pass or Graduation with appearing in TET Examination.

<> Through Regular Basis: Only TWO Posts come under this
* Group Inspector
* Assistant Superintendent (Jail)

<> Through Contract Basis: Many posts available
* Junior Auditor
* Mechanic
* Steno Typist
* HBR
* Motor Vehicle Inspector
* Supervisor
* TGT .....etc.,

So if you would like to apply for posts other than Group Inspector or Assistant Superintendent...then you are required to apply under Contact Basis only.
