Hello sir,I'm studied in Bachelor in vocational iwtt course so I want to know can a b.vocational student give the cds exam or eligible for cds exam?

CDS refers to Combined Defense Services and for appearing in the CDS examination held by UPSC twice every year, the minimum education required is a bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Candidates can appear in the same examination while being in the final year of their degree course.

So, even having opted for degree in vocational course, you are eligible for appearing in the CDS examination as far as the educational requirement for the same examination is concerned.

Education qualification required for CDS exam 2022:-

Candidates must be permanently settled in India.

Candidates mast be a graduate or are in their final year of graduation.

The minimum age limit for the exam is 19 years.

Women candidates are eligible for OTA.

Divorced and issueless women can apply for the exam.

The education qualification required for CDS exam 2022 , candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.

Candidates Nationality should be Indian

Eligibility
For IMA officers and OTA
Must have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university

Indian Naval Academy
Bachelor's in engineering from a recognised institution

Air Force Academy
Graduation with physics and maths at class 12 or bachelor's of engineering.

Candidates need not to have any backlog at the time of application.
They must be Indian National.

CDS examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted in two stages.

Educational qualification - Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

Age limit - 19-24 years.

The educational qualification required for the CDS examination 2022 is a candidate must have passed a Bachelor of Engineering or Graduation from a recognized university. A candidate must be a citizen of India and only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply for the CDS examination. The age limit is given below.

Indian Naval Academy (INA) - 19 years to 22 years
Air Force Academy - 19 years to 23 years
Indian Military Academy (IMA) - 19 years to 24 years

For Officers Training Academy and Indian Military Academy: Aspirants must have a bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university or any other equivalent to apply to India Military Academy (IMA) and Officers' Training Academy.

Education qualification required for CDS exam 2022.

1. The minimum qualification required to appear for the CDS exam is Graduation/Bachelor’s from a Government recognised university.

2. The minimum acceptable height for male candidates is 157.5 cms. (157 cms for Navy and 162.5 cms for Air Force).
For Women candidates minimum acceptable height is 152 cms.

3. Your age must be between 18 years to 25 years.
