Respected Sir, I want to apply in Constable recruitment of West Bengal Police. I just want to know about the eligibility criteria for applying in this recruitment. Can you please tell me about the eligibility criteria?

Candidates who are interested to apply for West Bengal Police Constable recruitment, should have completed their 10th standard from a recognized board and should be able to read and write in Bengali language. The age of the candidate should be in between 18 to 27 years and age relaxation is also applicable. Candidates must be physically and mentally fit. Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

The candidates must have cleared the Madhyamaik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent qualification.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for Constable Recruitment in West Bengal.

Candidate should be passed class 10th from a recognised board or university.

Candidate who have passed class 12th are also eligible.

Age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years and more than 27 years and relaxation in upper age as 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC of West Bengal state only.

Candidate should also have reading, writing and speaking knowledge of Bengali Language which is local language of the state that is why you must read all these required standards.

Physical Standards Required : Height 167 cms and weight 57 kgs and chest 78 cms without expansion and must be 5 cms expansion.

Height 160 cms and weight 53 kgs for Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Rajbanshi's and STs of the state.
