Dear friends, I have heard that HP-HDS has published a recruitment for Irrigation Assistant Engineer. Can I know about the eligibility criteria to apply for this post? Kindly let me know about the educational qualification also to apply. Thank you!

Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification required to apply for HP HDS Irrigation Assistant Engineer Recruitment:

The basic eligibility criteria required to apply for the post of Assistant Engineer (Irrigation) in HP HDS recruitment is given below,

>> You must have passed Bachelor of Agriculture or Bachelor of Civil or its equivalent degree from AICTE recognized university with 3 years of experience.

>> (Or) You must have done Diploma in Civil Engineering with 5 years of experience

>> (Or) You should have done M.E/ M.Tech in Civil Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience

>> Generally preference is given to the candidates with experience in designing or execution of several types of irrigation systems in HP.

>> Maximum age must not exceed 45 years in order to be eligible.

>> Salary Offered - Rs.50,000/- per month

The minimum age limit to apply for the post is 20 years and maximum is 42 years. Relaxations regarding age is applicable for reserved categories as per the State Government rules of Haryana.

The candidate must meet the following educational requirements for HP-HDS Irrigation Assistant Engineer recruitment:
1. Candidates must have done Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical stream or its equivalent from a recognized Institution or University.
2. Candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject up to matriculation level.

Minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for Assistant Engineer Irrigation department of HP HDS 2018 :

Educational qualification : Candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree in engineering either BE or B.Tech from a recognised university in any one of the Civil or Agriculture Engineering, or Equivalent degree from AICTE.

Work Experience of minimum three years in relevant field if have a degree in engineering and if candidate have achieved a diploma in civil engineering then experience should be minimum 5 years of working in relevant field. or

Candidate should have passed ME/M.Tech in civil engineering should have experience of minimum 2 years in relevant field and preference will be given to those candidates who have work experience in designing/ execution of different types of irrigation systems in HP.

Age of the candidate should not be more than 45 years and relaxation in upper age as per government rules that is 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC and those candidates who have been retired from the service will be allowed to apply only upto 62 years of age in this recruitment.

One more thing you should know that commission will select and shortlist candidates as per higher qualifications and experience and only those will be called for interview process so you have to be ready for interview after application and if you clear interview then you will get the job.
