Parliament of India has invited applications for the positions of Security Assistant, Junior Library Assistant, Junior Clerk, Executive Assistant, etc. Graduates with computer proficiency can apply for most of the positions. Ex-servicemen are only considered for the position of Security Assistant Grade-II. Upper age limit for the position is 45 years. For all other job positions, the upper age limit is 17 years. Eligibility Criteria for Executive/Legislative/Committee/Protocol Assistant

Eligibility requirements may vary with job profile. Degree holders can apply for the profile of Executive/Legislative/Committee/Protocol Assistant. Required qualification must be obtained in any discipline from a recognized university. Upper age limit of the applicant is 27 years.

Those with certificate in computer courses will be given preference. The certification course completed by the candidate must be approved by AICTE or DOEACC.

Eligibility Criteria for Security Assistant Grade-II (Technical)

Science graduates as well as technical degree holders can apply. Technical degree can be bachelors/diploma in engineering obtained from any of the AICTE recognized university. The qualification must be obtained in subjects of Electronics/Communication/Computer Science. Upper age limit of the applicant is 27 years.

Other than educational qualifications, applicant needs to satisfy certain physical standards also. Preference will be given for candidates with ‘C’ Certificate in NCC or having represented a state or the country at the national/ international level in any of the sports items.

Eligibility Criteria for Security Assistant Grade-II

The position of ‘Security Assistant Grade-II’ is applicable only for ex-servicemen. Such candidates must have HSC pass as the basic qualification. Anyway, preference will be given for candidates with graduation from any of the recognized University. They should have adequate experience in handling arms and all types of chores (like area sanitization, anti-sabotage checks and CCTV operation).  Upper age limit of the applicant is 45 years.

Eligibility Criteria for Junior Library Assistant

Graduates in Library Science from any of the recognized University can apply for the position. Computer proficiency is desirable. Certificate/Degree course in computer must be recognized by AICTE/DOEACC. Courses prescribed as equivalent to ‘O’ Level’ by DOEACC are also considered. Upper age limit of the applicant is 27 years.

Eligibility Criteria for Junior Clerk

Graduates in any subjects can apply for the position. Such candidates must have minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in English/Hindi. Candidates with 40 words per minute typing speed in both the subjects will be given preference. Computer proficiency is desirable. Computer certification course completed by the candidate must be approved by AICTE or DOEACC. Upper age limit of the applicant is 27 years.
