I want to become guard cammando in indian air force. But i wear glasses and i posses 6/6 sight with glasses. Can i become one?

IAF - Indian Air Force, this is one of the defence force of India and to join in this force there are certain eligibility conditions which you need to satisfy in order to apply for the entrance exam. There are many entrance exams which are conducted in India as per the qualification which you possess.

The minimum qualification needed is unmarried male candidate with 16 1/2 - 19 1/2 years. The educational qualification needed is candidate should have completed +2 from a recognized school board with physics and mathematics as subjects.

Regarding the physical standards, it is mentioned below:

Check whether you satisfy the eye sight standard mentioned above.

If you have fulfill below given criteria then you are eligible for Indian Air Force.

Eye sight for Indian Air force =

Minimum distant vision 6/6 in one eye and 6/9 in other

Correctable to 6/6 only for Hypermetropia

Colour vision CP-I

Hypermetropia = + 2.0 D Sph

Manifest Myopia = Nil

I have sphere=0.50, cyl=0.25, axis=180,vn=6/12 for my left eye and for my right I have vn=6/6 and everything is fine for my left eye. So am I fit for the medical exam for garud commanado

Colour blind people are eligible for the job Or not

How much eye sight must be there to join the garud force
