in a good government college
m doing M.Sc in Chemistry right now
so after this what I have to do for acheive my aim?

You can become a Professor in any Government college after completing M.Sc in Chemistry through NET exam .

NET stands for National Eligibility Test . It is an entrance examination conducted at national level for the candidates who wishes to get teaching jobs in government university.The candidate who wants to persue Ph.d. degree can also appear for the NET exam .NET exam is conducted by UGC (university grant commission) twice a year in the month of June and September .

The eligibility criteria for NET exam are as under:-

-The candidate must be an Indian.

-The candidate should have completed Masters degree in related subjects with minimum 55% of marks.Final year appearing student can also apply for the exam.

-There is no upper age limit to apply for the NET exam .

To become professor in any college in India , it is compulsory for the candidates to have Masters degree as well as to qualify in the NET examination.

It is conducted by CBSE(Central Baord of Secondary Education) from the presesnt year.Earlier, it was conducted by UGC(University Grant Commission).

Candidate need to have Master's degree in any disciple to apply for NET examination.
NET is conducted in 83 subjects all over India.
Candidates are allowed to appear in the same subject from which they have passed or appearing in Master's degree.

After qualifying NET examinatio, candiates are appointed at the post of Assistant Professor or Lecturer. After a certain period , candidates get promotion to professor.
