To crack U.P.S.C. exams you must know the syllabus, exam pattern of the exam.

Candidate must be motivated and confident about his/her abilities.

You should choose subjects in UPSC which you are studying or have already studied.

You should be dedicated enough because it may require more than 1 attempt to crack UPSC exams.

You can visit UPSC for all the necessary details.

You have to refer good books, also you can take help of some coaching institute.

Age limit for open Category Candidate is 21 to 30 years.

Relaxation in age will be given to the SC/ST candidates is upto maximum of 5 years and for OBC is up to 3 years and for others as per Govt. rule.

No. of Attempts:

General category candidates 6 attempts.

Through UPSC you can go through different levels of jobs. As I Said UPSC is the Organization which conducts Entrance Level Examination for many sector like Civil Services, Defense , Indian Engineering Services etc.,

And here we are giving you the list of jobs and cadres available under UPSC you can see it from the below link. Click here

Among all these exams Civil Services has a Separate role in the sense of cadre. Though this you can chose the departments as per your merit based marks. For all most all exams has a Same Eligibility criteria.

Age criteria for Different categories as per UPSC norms.

>> Gen --- 21 to 30 years

>> OBC -- 21 to 33 years

>> SC/ST -- 21 to 35 years.

For PH candidates there is a relaxation of about 10 years for the normal age criteria.

Hope you will get the required information.
