Is my Delhi university degree valid for Police job in Karnataka?


Sir, I belong to SC caste from Hyderabad, Karnataka. I am very much interested in joining in police department. My height is 169cm, but my certificate is Delhi university. Is it possible to apply for police job?

Yes, you can apply for Police job in Karnataka with degree from Delhi university.

Recruitment in the Karnataka police department is made by the Karnataka Public Service Commission through an exam known as Karnataka Civil Services Exam.

Eligibility criteria required to apply for PSI examination in Karnataka are as under:-

- The candidate must have completed Graduation degree with at least 60%(50% for SC/ST) marks from a recognized university .

-The age limit to apply for the exam is from 20 years to 25 years for general category.There is relaxation in upper age limit by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

-The selection procedure involves of

Written test.

Physical test.

Medical test.
