I have done B.A. I want to become a District Collector. I want to give IAS EXAM in marathi language, is it possible?

You can give IAS mains exam in Marathi Language but Preliminary exam can be give only English Language.

Also you can get IAS preparation material in Marathi medium.

Candidate has to appear for UPSC Civil Services Exam in order to become an IAS officer .

Eligibility criteria required to appear for civil services exam :-

Nationality : Indian.

Edu. Qualification :Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.


Age criteria :

General category :21 years to 30 years .

OBC candidates : 21 years to 33 years .

SC/ST candidates : 21 years to 35 years .

PWD candidates :21 years to 40 years .


No. of attempts :

General category : 4 times under the creamy layer,

OBC candidates : 7 times and

SC/ST candidates : No limits .


Exam process :

*Preliminary Exam

*Main exam

No, it is not possible to write IAS exam in Marathi language.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. IAS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. IAS exam is conducted one time in a year.

If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for IAS exam.

Age Criteria:

For General: 21 to 30 years
For OBC: 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

No. of Attempts:

For General: 3
For OBC: 7
For SC/ST: No Restriction

**Yes , you can give IAS exam in Marathi language .but once you have select Marathi language then you have to follow it till last interview means Personal interview.

Yes, it is possible to write I.A.S. exam in Marathi language.
But once candidate have selected Marathi Language then candidate have to follow it till the last interview.

Eligibility :
Candidate must have passed graduation in any stream from any recognised university.
Age of candidate must be from 21 to 32 years. Relaxation is there as per government norms.
