Can I write IAS exam in my mother tongue or is English necessary? The IAS mains paper should be written in Essay or Objective manner?
1.I want to write ias exam in .For that preliminary exam should only write in English? or can i write it in my mother tounge?.
2.InIas main exam paper I,II,III,IV,V should be writen in essay pattern or objective type? please give me the detailed information about ias exam . |

you need to write this exam in english or ur mother tongue also ,bec it is a india wide exam .This exam is conducted by UPSC, THE Total marks is 23oo marks.in that 2000 marks for paper -2 english(qulifiying marks 300), paper-1 u need to select ur langaugae frn 18 indian langauges(qualifiyin 300 marks) paper-3 essay writing,(200 m),paper 4&5-General studies (300 M for each paper total 600m),6,7,8,9 are u need to selected two subj frm optional (12oo m) total 2000marks,300 for interview . Can I use my mother tongue in IAS interview session? Is there need any process or application from my end after qualify the main examination? Can I use any interpreter?
