How to write IAS exam if I am a engineering student?


Dear Sir ,


I m a engineering student and i would like to write IAS.and i m thinking which subjects should i chose .......i m good in general subjects compare to engineering subjects and my language is Kannada .if i chose general subjects how should i prepare my self ....tell me about exams mains ,language and interview please .......

Yes, you can apply for IAS. You can select your subject of interest as optional subject. Self preparation is enough to clear the test. Prelims exam comprise questions in general aptitude, Indian history, geography, Indian constitution, etc. Mains exam is based on the optional subject selected.

Hi Friend.............

If you are interested in IAS first you can crack the Civil Examination

First you can appear for Civil Examination

Civil Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones,

For this Civil Examination some eligibility are there

if you satisfy these all eligibility then you are eligible for civil examination

Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination


Educational Qualification

>> Candidates have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university,

>> Final year students also eligible for this examination

>> There is no percentage required for this examination

Age Limit

>> Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates

5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates

3 years relaxation for OBC candidates

Nationality

>> Candidates should be a citizen of India

Selection Procedure

** Preliminary Examination

** Mains Examination

** Interview Test

No.of Attempts

>> Maximum 7 attempts for general candidates

>> Maximum 4 attempts for OBC Candidates

>> There is no restriction for SC/ST candidates

IAS - INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE

If you want to become an IAS officer first you need to crack the civil service examination this exam is conducted by the UPSC once a year.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Candidate should complete graduation from a recognized university of india in any stream

Age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years

Upper age relaxation for reserved candidates

Candidate should be a citizen of india

No need of marks in graduation level

SELECTION PROCESS:


Preliminary exam

Main exam

Interview

Hello friend

No problem to write IAS
You can even write the exam after completing B.Tech also

Eligibility :

Education qulaification :
1. All the candidates need to complete degree in any stream from a recognised university by central government of India

Age limits :
1. All the candidates msut be in the age group of 21 - 30 years
2. Generally leaving the age limit , relaxations for maximum age is given for back ward castes, ex - service men , scheduled castes, scheduled tribes
3. The maximum age limit for Backward castes is 33 years
4. The maximum age limit for Scheduled castes and tribes is 35 years
5. The maximum age limit for ex - service men is 35 years

Procedure for selection :
1. IAS is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC board once in a year
2. The candidates will be selected by
i. Written test
ii. Physical test
iii. Personal interview
3. Written test :
i. There are 2 modes of written and all must pass both the tests
ii. The modes are 1. Preliminary exam 2. Main exam
4. Physical test :
i. All the candidates must be physically fit
ii. All the candidates must have the height and weight required i.e., equal ratio
iii. Ladies must not be pregnant while training period
5. Personal interview :
i. All must pass the personal interview and must answer al the questions

I also like to write the exam it's my dteam but i dont known how to prepare so give the choice

I just finished my 10th and aspiring to take up CS in Diploma and CS in BE..Is it a correct decision..??? And another question is can a engineering student through from Diploma apply for IAS and IPS..??

I completed puc with pcm and I become has officer and I go to BE then I become ias officer are not ????
