Respected Sir I want to know about the procedure for applying for IFS(Foreign Service) exam for a graduate who is very much eligible and within age limit.

To apply for the Indian Forest Services examination, you need to wait for next notification of Union Public Service Commission Civil Services examination. This year examination form has already been filled.

Next year advertisement is expected to be released in February 2022. If you meet the minimum academic qualification, you can apply for exam at official website of UPSC which is http://www.upsconline.nic.in.

The minimum eligibility criteria for this exam is:

>>Graduation in any stream from a recognized university with one of the essential subjects like Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Physics, Mathematics, Agriculture etc.

>>The age limit for this exam is 21-32 years for general category candidates. Reserved category candidates are eligible for upper age relaxation of three years for OBC and five years for SC/ST candidates.

Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC for recruitment as an I.A.S, I.P.S, I.F.S officer etc.

The eligibility to apply for the recruitment is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Age limit is 21-32 years. Examination is conducted in three stages.

Application form is released every year, so if you are eligible to apply for the examination than can fill online application form. For more information visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Register yourself as by filling basic details.

Login using username and password.

Click on active examination.

Fill application form and attach all required documents.

Pay application fee and submit application.

>> There are Part 1 and Part 2 and you need to complete the process one by one to complete the whole registration process.

The UPSC examination consists of three rounds of exam to recruit candidate into the group A and group b Central services. These are prelims, mains and interview.
Moreover the selected candidates go to Lal Bahadur Shastri National academy of administration for training. However the second one is a bi a promotion from group B service. Fourth staff selection commission selects the candidates. in other words the officer through this is selection can get the position of joint secretary in ministry.

The Indian foreign services ( IFS) is responsible for framing the governments foreign polices and management if Indian mission abroad.
IFS is unlike other civil services as it deals with the country's external affairs,trade and cultural relations.
Education qualification -: bachelor's degree in any discipline like science, commerce, arts. with recognized University.
Age limit:- 21 years to 30 years.
Attempts:- general- 7
Sc/st - no limit
Obc - 9 Attempts.
