As you are pursuing B.Tech that is why you are eligible for SSC exam which is conducted on +2 basis.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate must have passed higher secondary education from a recognized school and university.

Candidate must have at least 60% aggregate in their +2.

SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission. SSC conducts various examination like SSC CHSL, SSC CGL, SSC entrance exam for Senior Engineer etc. At present you are only eligible for Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level exam. You can apply for rest of exams mentioned above while pursuing while final year of bachelor's degree or after it.

The age limit for SSC CHSL is 18-27 years. There is upper age relaxation for candidates of reserved category. You can get more details about these exams at www.ssc.nic.in.

SSC conducts Combined Graduate Level Examination at bachelor's degree level.

Eligibility Criteria:

*Bachelor's degree passed or appearing in final year of bachelor's degree to be eligible for SSC CGL exam.

*Age limit is 18-27 years.

Since at present, you are in third year of bachelor of technology course, you are not eligible for SSC CGL exam, you can apply next year for SSC CGL exam.

Since, you are in the 3rd year of your B.tech course you are not eligible to appear for examination at graduation qualification.

So, as per present qualification you are only eligible to appear for SSC CHSLE examination. The eligibility to appear for examination is :-

Candidate must have passed 10+2 from any recognised board.

Candidate's age must be between 19-28 years with relaxation in age for reserved category.
