Can anyone of you let me know about the selection procedure in AFCAT 2018 for Ground Duty Staff recruitment? I want to get selected for the same post so I want to know the selection procedure. Kindly tell me asap.

The acronym AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test.

The objective of this exam is to select candidates for different branch of Indian Air Force:

Flying Branch.

Technical branch.

Ground Duty Branch.

For ground duty branch, academic qualification required is bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Age limit is 20-26 years.

Candidates are selected on basis of performance in written test and Service Selection Board.

AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test. The eligibility criteria for AFCAT Ground Duty branch:

>>Candidate should have done bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university to apply for this exam.

>>The age criteria is 20-26 years.

The selection of candidates is done on basis of written test for next stage. The final stage of selection is Service Selection Board. SSB is the biggest hurdle in this exam. You can do one month training from any coaching of SSB for better preparation.

AFCAT examination is conducted in two stages :

Written.

AFSSB.

AFCAT refers to Air force Common Admission Test and it is held for recruitment of personnel as Short Service Commissioned Officer in flying branch, ground duty branch and technical branch of Indian Air force.

As far as you are concerned about the selection procedure for joining Indian Air force ground duty branch through AFCAT then for the same you will first have to qualify AFCAT written test which is an online test followed by SSB ( Service Selection Board ) interview and then you have to go through the medical test.

AFCAT ( Air Force Common Admission Test ) and the entrance examination is conducted for recruitment in Air Force as an officer.

The selection is made for the short service. The required stream and age limit varies with post.

For appearing in entrance for Ground Duty the required qualification is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree with minimum 60%. The age limit is 20-26 years.

Candidate must be physically and mentally fit. Only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply.

AFCAT is conducted twice in a year. The examination is conducted for recruitment as technical/non-technical or as Flying duty officer.

The eligibility to appear for examination for Ground duty is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university with minimum 60%. The age limit is 20-26 years.

It is mandatory to have mathematics and physics at 12th std. Only unmarried and physically fit candidates are eligible.

The selection will be made after qualifying in two stages :

Written.

SSB.

Eligibility Criteria for Ground Duty Branch:

Candidate must have Graduation and Post-Graduation in any stream from a recognized university.

Candidate age must be 20 to 26 years.

Candidate must be unmarried.

Nationality: Indian

Both male and female candidate are eligible for this exam.

To be eligible for AFCAT Ground Duty Branch first you can crack SSB exam.

Selection Process of AFCAT 2018 Ground Duty Recruitment:

The selection process of AFCAT 2018 Ground Duty Recruitment consists of the below mentioned rounds. They are,

> Computer Based Online Test

> Psychological Test

> Group Tests

> Personal Interview

Hence, selection is done based on the merit secured in all the rounds together. Hence, you are required to work hard and get through the above mentioned rounds one by one. The minimum age required for this recruitment is 20 years and maximum age must not exceed 26 years to be eligible.

AFCAT examination is conducted in two stages as :

Written.

SSB.

Candidates after qualifying in both stages will become eligible for selection in Indian Air Force as an officer.

The examination is conducted twice in a year.

You do not have to appear and qualify for PABT which is only for Flying officer post.

The selection procedure is same for Ground duty post as like other test.

Candidates after qualifying in written test have to appear for SSB and after qualifying in will become eligible for recruitment in Air Force.

The age limit for appearing in AFCAT is 20-26 years. There is no EKT and PABT for ground duty recruitment.

The selection procedure of AFCAT 2018 Ground Duty is based on the marks scored in the written examination conducted by Indian Army.
Shortlisted candidates will be then called for further screening test which consists of two stages.
Candidates those who will qualify in the interview will have to go through a medical test, qualifying in which they can join.
