The steps to become and Indian Forest Services officer is detailed as below:
Step 1: First of all, acquire the minimum academic qualification required to apply for recruitment examination of Forest Services that is Civil Services examination. >>You must be minimum of 21 years. The minimum academic qualification required for this exam is graduation in any discipline from a recognized university with one of the subjects like Physics, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Statistics, Mathematics, Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Science, Agriculture or its equivalent. Step 2: You need to clear all the three stages of Civil Services examination. The first stage is Preliminary examination which is of qualifying nature. Second stage is Mains exam and last stage is Personal interview. Your rank depends upon marks secured in Personal interview and Mains exam. |

IPS stands for Indian Police Service exam. This exam conducted by the UPSC once in a year. If you are interested in IPS service, first you can appear the Civil examination . Eligibility criteria for IPS:- Education qualification:- You must have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognised University are eligible to apply . Age limit is between 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC:- For SC/ ST - 5 years. For OBC 3 years. Nationality:- To be a citizen of India. Steps to become an IPS Officer are;
For IPS and IFS both you have to complete your graduation with recognized university with any specialization. During graduation you can prepare for UPSC exam. You should understand the exam pattern and syllabus asked. Work on your weak sections. If you are comfortable with mock test than try to write answers daily. Apply for UPSC examination in last year of your graduation. Clear each stage of selection with good marks and positive attitude. Secure position in merit list and be IPS/ IAS/ IFS officer. |

To become an Indian Foreign Service, you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service examination.
