PGCIL : POWER GRID CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED

Every year PGCIL recruits engineering graduates of specific streams on the basis of GATE score.
Engineering graduates of having B.E./B.Tech degree in Electrical/ Electrical
(Power)/Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems streams, who appear GATE exam with
Electrical Engineering (EE) paper, can apply for this recruitment process. When GATE
scores are available PGCIL shortlists applicants based on their GATE score, for Group
Discussion and Personal Interview.

The weightage of the candidate’s performances to calculate final score for selection is as under

GATE Score - 85%
Group Discussion - 3%
Personal Interview - 12%

Apart from this, PGCIL also recruits engineers on contractual basis.
