I am 29 year old. I want to know what is the maximum age limit for applying for the post of DSP in CG PSC?

Eligibility :

A candidate must have done graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories.

Age 21-30 years and relaxation is given to reserved categories.

You have to appear in the civil services exam that is conducted by UPSC.

The candidate who wish to become Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) should follow the follow steps.

The candidate should take the Public Service Commission (PSC) exam of the respective government. The eligibility for the entrance exam is given below.

ELIGIBILITY :

* Candidate should be citizen of India.

* Candidates age should be in the range of 21-30 years.

* Age relaxation is applicable as per norms.

* Candidate should have completed bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university or institution.

SELECTION PROCEDURE :

* Written examination.

* Personal Interview.

* Physical Test.

CG PSC stands for Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission. It is conducted by state government of Chhattisgarh.

Eligibility criteria:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Age limit on 01/01/2015.

Normal Post: 21-30 years. For Chhattisgarh candidates: 21-35 years.

Deputy SP Post: 21-28 years. Upper age relaxation as per rules for reserved category.

You can apply only if you belong to reserved category otherwise not applicable if you belong to open category. Last date for online application is 08th January, 2016.

Of course there will be an age relaxation of 5 years for CG citizens as per the government norms. Since you are 29 years candidate, I am sure you are certainly eligible to appear in CGPSC Recruitment for DSP post. Generally age criteria is concerned as on 1st January of the issuance of Notification / Advertisement.

candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years.

SC/ST category:

Relaxable for SC/ST by 5 years.

That is 30 years Maximum age limit for General category and 35 year maximum age limit for SC/ST category.

The maximum age limit for applying for becoming DSP in CG PSC are:

Candidate age should be more than 21 years and less than 30 years for General category.

Maximum age limit is 35 years for SC/ST category.

Full form of CGPSC:- CHHATTISGARH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.
Eligibility :- GRADUATION with 50%
Age Limit:-. 21-30 Years
If you belongs to ST/SC/OBC,you will get relaxation in age.
You have to Qualify Preliminary,Mains and Interview.
For the post of DSP, you should be physically fit.

I am a retired soldier from Indian Army. My age is 33 years. can I apply for DSP post in PCS.
