I am Anil and belongs to SC category. I want to know about the upper age limit for SC candidates for applying for the state government jobs in Tamilnadu State. Please help.

The maximum upper age limit for applying government jobs in Tamil Nadu state is 35 years for SC/ ST category candidates.

While that for OC category candidates the upper age limit is 30 years of age.

Age limit for SC candidates for Tamil Nadu State government is from 21 to 38 years.
5 years of relaxation is provided to SC category candidates over General category in Tamil Nadu State government jobs.

Its depends Upon the recruitment for example police is 30 years for general SC candidates can extended as 5 years more..

For SC/ ST Candidates - 5 years relaxation - 40 years

For OBC Candidates - 3 years relaxation - 38 years

For General Candidates - No relaxation - 35 years
