Hello everyone,
I want to know about the new
question paper pattern of KPSC exams.
Can you please tell me the pattern and
the syllabus to be covered for Preliminary exam?

Examination pattern of KPSC :

1.Written Examination :

a. Prelims :

It consists of Two papers ( Objective Type ) and And each paper has 100 Q for 100 marks ( Each correct answer carries one mark )

* Paper I ( General Knowledge and Humanities in the ration of 40:60 respectively.

* Paper II ( General Studies and General Science ( Physics , Chemistry and Technology)

b. Main's Examinations

Under this examination you will have total 8 papers of descriptive type .

2.Interview

3.Document Verification.

Coming to the syllabus for Prelims you need to select the Good reference book for preparation. Since the level of examination is not much tougher than Civil's Examination.

Under General Knowledge section you need to select " Lucent General Awareness " book for it. It has entire syllabus for any type of Public service Examination.
