Karnataka Public Service Commission - Management (Paper II) Papers
The paper on management from the Karnataka Public Service Commission is a paper dealing with the basic concept and theories of management studies compiling all the important subjects in this particular subject. There are two papers on management and it has varied syllabus.
Paper pattern:
The paper is a subjective paper with elaboration on the topics given and one needs a detailed knowledge on the subject. The paper 2 on management has four sections; section A, B, C and D. Section A is of 20 marks and has questions on short notes on the various aspects of the syllabus. Section B is of 100 marks and is a section on essay type answers having 10 marks each. Section C and D are both of 90 marks each. Section C has questions on essay type questions but carrying 15 marks each, thereby requiring one to be more elaborative. Finally section D has questions worth 30 marks each. The paper is available in English as well as Kannada.
Maximum marks and time allotted:
The mark allotted in the paper 2 of management is 300 marks and the time allotted to complete the paper is 3 hours.

There are no questions which find repetitions in the paper rather it is a sort of important topics from the examination point of view and some of them are as follows – concepts of marketing and the economic development associated with it. Concepts of rural and urban marketing strategies, planning and the control of sales, exports, imports, and the concepts of economic development of individual organization and other concepts related to financial management and other elaborate concepts of management basics.
