I have heard that there is some reservation quota for Ex-serviceman in UPPCS. Please tell me what is that reservation quota? I belong to UP state in OBC category.

There is not any quota for ex-servicemen in UPPSC exams, if you are ex-defense personnel then you will be eligible for age relaxation of 5 years.

UPPSC stands for Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission .

The eligibility criteria required to appear for the UPPSC exam are as under :-

-The candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university .

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam should be from 21 years to 40 years .The upper age limit is relaxed for SC/ST candidates by 5 years .

Preliminary exam (Objective type Multiple choice questions)

Main Exam (Conventional type i.e.written exam) , and

Personality Interview .
