Hello Sir, I want to know about the Selection criteria of SSC. I want to know is there any branch wise criteria, like only particular branch student of engineering can only apply for SSC? Please answer as soon as possible.

For selection in SSC exams, you have to clear written exam and interview or skills test based in the kind of job post. There are various exams conducted by SSC for which specialised qualification is required.

There is SSC JE exam for which you need B.Tech or Diploma in specific stream. Selection is based on the performance in the written exam and interview.
