I would like to know the procedure for applying in the recruitment of SSC Junior Engineer. Please tell me the procedure and the eligibility criteria for applying in this recruitment.

SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission and as the name suggests it is a commission that conducts different SSC entrance examination for recruitment of personal in different government offices.

--> For appearing in SSC JE ( Junior Engineer ) recruitment the minimum eligibility criteria required are as here under :-

* You must have the nationality of India.

* You must have at least completed your three year diploma in engineering degree course with Electrical/ Civil/ Mechanical stream from a recognized institute. Here for recruitment in different departments, different stream is required.

* Your age must lie within 18 years to 27 years. Here also for recruitment in few departments the maximum age limit is 30 years. Further age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

The eligibility criteria for the recruitment of the Junior Engineer through the SSC is Engineering Degree in the respective stream from any recognized University.

The candidate should have completed the age of 21 years at least for the recruitment as well.

Eligibility to apply for "SSC Junior Engineer recruitment " :

>> You should complete at least graduation (B.E/B.Tech ) with respective departments from the recognized university.

>> Age should be in between these limits (Different Age limits as per posts )

-- Maximum age is 32 years for Central water commission and CPWD.

-- Age should be 18 to 27 years for Department of posts, JE (Surveying and contract )

-- Maximum Age : 30 years for JE, MES.
